Ericka Lutz writes fiction (long and short), non-fiction (creative and commercial), and solo performance pieces. She's a novelist, and the author of many short stories, columns, personal essays, solo performance pieces, and advice books. With a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Creative Arts, she learned at an early age to suit the genre to the content, not the reverse.

Ericka's novel The Edge of Maybe is forthcoming from Last Light Studio in March, 2012.

She is also the author of seven non-fiction books for parents and teens, including On the Go with Baby and the bestselling Complete Idiot's Guide to Stepparenting. Her award-winning short stories and personal essays appear in books, anthologies, journals, and online. Ericka's personal column Solo appears occasionally at Literary Mama.
