My
award-winning fiction and creative non-fiction has appeared in books,
anthologies, literary journals, and on the Web. Current projects include a
collection of short stories all located in and around the mythical Bay Area
city of San Andreas. Read a short synopsis. "Whatever

story of my short story collection San Andreas: Short Fiction on Shaky
Ground is now reprinted at Literary Mama. "San
Andreas" first appeared in Scrivener Creative Review, Spring,
2004. "Deer
Story," my award-winning story at the 2006 Boston Fiction Festival,
is now online at Hub Online Literary Journal. Read

Nature." This story, first published in Sideshow 1997, won an
Honorable Mention, and was cited by Publishers Weekly as
